The Board of the SBBC are:
David Hodgson
President & Acting Chairman
David has been involved in business development projects since
the 1980s, and has worked for a number of high-profile international firms as well as establishing and managing four high-tech start-up companies. He is currently an independent business project director and consultant specialising in complex and international projects, especially in broadcasting and the media.
David lived in Slovakia for the majority of the 1990’s and has kept his relationships with and love of the country since. David has a strong interest in the arts and culture and has supported several British-Slovak cultural events.
Marianna Hodgson
Executive Director
In her role of Executive Director in the SBBC responsible for presence, Marianna has built lasting professional relationships with people of all levels in government and official organisations in the UK, Slovakia and other EU countries. Marianna has worked in the cultural arena for more than twenty years. She has run her own management and production company and has produced and managed cultural and business events in prestigious venues in London and across Europe.
Marianna is expert in building and maintaining relationships with people from different backgrounds and bringing them together in balanced teams with a shared vision and goals.
