New director appointed at SPP
Slovakian energy provider SPP has announced a number of changes to its board of directors.
Jean-Jacques Ciazynski has become the chairman of the company''s board while previous post holder Bernd Wagner will continue working as a board member.
The new chairman said that Mr Wagner succeeded in establishing SPP as a reliable partner for both Slovakian and international businesses.
"I am convinced that our company will continue in improving and extending the portfolio of services, in satisfying the needs of our customers and business partners and that we will succeed, as a transparent and competitive company, to retain the trust of our customers and business partners in the future," he added.
Meanwhile, Ulrich Scholer replaced Eric Stab as vice-chairman of SPP''s supervisory board.
The changes came into effect on July 1st after being agreed upon during the SPP board''s general meeting in April.
SPP recently signed a contract with E.ON Ruhrgas for the supply of 500 million cubic metres of gas each year.
