Manage stress 'by working on holiday'

Some Britons find they are better able to manage their workload if they work while on holiday, one sector commentator has claimed, in news which may interest people planning a trip to Slovakia this summer.

However Lisette Howlett, managing director of HireScores.com, said that it was still important for holidaymakers to organise and plan their time to make sure that work does not take over their break.

This may be achieved by doing just an hour in the morning or, alternatively, for one afternoon a week.

"They are the ones who need support from the organisation and managers to be able to take better holidays," she noted.

Ms Howlett advised that Britons organise themselves before they go and leave full briefing notes behind for staff in the office.

Her comments come after Expedia reported that 60 per cent of Brits will take their full holiday entitlement this year despite mounting work pressures.
