Direct bus route to Slovakia from Budapest Airport

Hungarian airline Malev has launched an express bus service to the Slovakian capital of Bratislava from Budapest Airport.

Britons travelling to Hungary or Slovakia can now hop between the two countries on a direct coach service, allowing individuals who land at the airport to get to their destination in Slovakia much easier, the airline said.

Karim Makhlouf, chief commercial officer at Malev, stated that Slovakia can now be efficiently linked to its European and Middle Eastern flights.

"Slovakia, as a dynamic and growing country, represents a key market for Malev and we are very happy to add Bratislava and Kosice as new destinations to the Malev network," he added.

This direct service could leave Britons with more time to explore Slovakia. Known as the "Little Big Country," Slovakia has everything from bear tracking in the mountains to cruising down the River Danube.

And the city of Bratislava could be the ideal place for individuals who want to experience the culture of the country, whether by people-watching in a cafe to visiting museums and galleries.
