Festival fans get ready for Dobre Bohunice
Fans of Slovakia who could not make it to the country for the recent Pohoda festival can always fly in for the forthcoming Fest Dobre Bohunice.
Held from July 31st to August 2nd, the festival provides visitors with the opportunity to take in performances by more than 200 musical acts.
Genres range from country and bluegrass to Celtic and folk, catering for a variety of tastes.
Despite centring on music, the festival also offers plenty of other activities to entertain those present.
Among the attractions will be the Potbelly Jump World Championship and gold washing, as well as a range of activities put on especially for children.
Those staying in Slovakia around the end of August can also enjoy a musical treat in the form of the International organ music festival, held inside Saint Nicolas Church and the Saint John the Baptist Cathedral, showcasing exceptional organists from around the world.
