Culture 'to be found in Bratislava'

Britons who are heading off to Bratislava may want to visit the city''s Krokus Gallery.
The Slovak Spectator reported that graphics by nine "outstanding" artists are on show until September 18th, with individuals showcasing including Emilio Vedova, Fabrizio Plessi, Jozef Jankovic and Jurgen Messensee.
Other art galleries to be discovered in the Slovakian capital include the City of Bratislava Gallery, the Ardan Gallery, the Z Gallery and the Slovak National Gallery.
Commenting on the showcase at the Krokus Gallery, the newspaper said that whether the graphics "serve as a preliminary stage in the creation of some other artwork, a commentary or a kind of postscript, they never fail to bring a new point of view on both the genre and the artist".
Whilst in Bratislava, culture vultures may also want to visit the Viva Musica festival, which features classical music and jazz from both foreign and Slovak musicians and runs until the end of July.
It was recently noted by thetravelmagazine.net that combining beach and city breaks is a popular option. Bratislava is home to the Magio City Beach.
