Slovakia 'becomes a fashion capital'

Slovakia''s capital city Bratislava is set to play host to a collection of striking clothing and accessories until September 7th and Britons visiting the country before then may not want to miss out.
The Slovak Spectator reports that Podhradie Exhibition Hall at Zizkova will feature the exhibition - put together by the Slovak National Museum in Bratislava and the Museum of Glass and Jewelry in Jablonec nad Nisou.
The work on display features garments by 29 noted Czech fashion designers, along with some academy of art students.
Marking the end of the Czech presidency of the European Union, the display is described by the news resource as "unconventional" and "original".
And dedicated followers of fashion may find there is plenty more to keep them entertained on a trip to Slovakia.
Indeed, Australian travel website Wotif.com said the number of Australians choosing to take a holiday in Slovakia has increased, with many wishing to pay a visit to Bratislava.
