Fashion on a budget in Slovakia

Britons planning a holiday to Slovakia have been advised that it is now more possible to be fashionable on a getaway while on a budget.

Neil Rodgers, celebrity fashion stylist, said that the high street had become a powerful place, with trends seen on the runway quickly making their way on to the rails of shops.

This meant that staying fashionable was now more of a possibility for most people, which may be welcome news to individuals hoping to show off their style on an evening out in Slovakia''s capital Bratislava.

"It''s still within people''s reach, even within these economic times, to be fashionable," he added.

Mr Rodgers'' comments come as Post Office Travel Insurance released figures saying that the average suitcase for the general public was valued at £1,133.

Women''s luggage is the most expensive - averaging £1,276.66 - while men are likely to be carrying £988.66, the study noted.
