KPMG Golf Business Forum 2008

The 5th KPMG Golf Business Forum held this year in Ireland followed on from the success of the four previous events and attracted an attendance of 350 delegates from over 40 countries. Central and Eastern Europe as emerging golf markets have arrived on the radar screens of everyone in the industry and rapid growth is predicted for the whole region. Emphasis though was again that the private and public sector must work together and if government procrastinates over development plans progress will be slow and to stay competitive there is an urgent need for the region to catch up with the rest of the world.
