Black Stork Golf Club Velká Lomnica

he Velká Lomnica golf club is located at the foot of the High Tatras between Velká Lomnica and Tatranská Lomnica. Black Stork picks up on the golf tradition beneath the Tatras - the first 9-hole golf course in Hungary was opened in Tatranská Lomnica in 1906. A 27-hole professional course on 120 hectares is planned (September 2006); each 9-hole course will be approximately 3,600 meters long. The club is open to the public.

Golf Simulators

An exciting facility for beginners as well as advanced players, enabling exercise of the basic stance, golf swing (with an analysis of the shot and grip on screen), tees as well as play on the green. It is possible to train on a practice fairway as well as on more than 20 golf courses on the world precisely projected into computer graphics. The golf clubs Tále owns the golf simulator “Golf Blaster”, located in the premises of the club the at Hotel Stupka na Tá?och and has good conditions agreed for its members for the use of the golf simulator. The small golf academy service opened in May 1999 in front of Stupka Hotel, providing excellent conditions for golf training. There are two tee sites for a short game, a four-hole green, two bunkers and a small driving range with four covered tees, driving into a net.


Liptovská Mara Dam

Is considerable recreation centre in summer. Liptovska Mara is dam on the river Váh with execution 198 MW. It was build in years 1969 till 1975. High of dam is 45 m and is a second biggest shoot dike in Slovakia. Dam with balanced reservoir can includes the 365 mil. m3 of water (most on SR). Under water is flood 13 villages. The precious houses are removed to open-air museum. in Pribylina - Gothic-renaissance manor-house from Parizovce, authentic Gothic churches from Liptovska Mara, Sielnica and valuable rustic houses of folk architecture. Only the articular church from Paludza is remove to near the village Lazisko.


Artificial Lakes in Stiavnica Mountains

The region is famous for its unique mining hydro-system. There are 24 lakes called tajchy in Stiavnica Mountains. Although they are now integrated in their natural environment, they were originally built in the 18th century as water reservoirs serving the mining industry. There used to be over 120 reservoirs and ditch network of approximately 130 km. These artificial lakes are now very popular among holiday-makers. Surrounded by the hilly landscape and picturesque scenery.
