P.Lehocky's Holography at the Slovak Embassy in the UK (March 16th - June 21st 2008)

Cleanness, nobleness and harmony, these are three main attributes of artistic performance by Peter LEHOCKÝ, which has been developing logically and sounding in the area of sculpture, drawing, holography and applied art for more than thirty years. Fragile and beautiful curves of natural forms transforming themselves into new surprising relations and connections through optics of the author's inventiveness and experience find permanent resonance in it.

Peter LEHOCKÝ was born on 11 February 1944 in Drietoma. In years 1967- 1973 he studied at the Department of industrial product shaping under supervision of lecturer Kautman at Academy of fine arts and design. He addicts himself to design, holography, sculpture and drawing. Since 1986 he teaches on Department of design at Faculty of Architecture of Slovak University of Technology. He lives in Bratislava and Tren?ín.

This year Peter LEHOCKÝ came to London with his exhibition of holography. It was exposed in the Slovak Embassy for a period of about 3 months. Visitors could enjoy his numerous masterpieces e.g. hologram of Andy Warhol etc.
